Rock Solid Youth Prevention Team is paying it forward by offering three different workshops in the FHMS Health and Careers classes for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders during these times of physical distancing which doesn’t mean we have to be social distancing!
Utilizing their training with Peer 2 Peer, Rock Solid President Luke Fincher, Ramona, and Clarence have put 50 hours of practice to offer these various topics including Social Norms, Healthy Youth Survey Data, Media Literacy, Marijuana Facts Game with YouCanWa.org, Coping Skills, Building Resilience, Science of Hope and the Power of the Positive!
Ending each workshop with a Youth Panel, where students can ask all kinds of questions about high school and choosing health! It’s an opportunity to connect and share:) Well done Rock Solid! We appreciate your continued leadership to build community and connections.
