Annually since 2011, Rock Solid has made the journey to Yakima to attend the WA. State Prevention Summit. We also meet up with other San Juan County prevention teams: H.O.T.S. Jr (Helping Our Teens Society in FHMS), Dream Team from Lopez Island Prevention Coalition and on occasion, the Orcas Island Prevention Coalition youth. When we return, we are tasked with creating a new prevention project each year to pay forward the skills and knowledge we gleaned during the workshops and activities at the Summit. This award honors the work of our teens willing to show up, step up and stay connected to helping make positive change. Well done Rock Solid, Luke Fincher, Ramona Flierl, Inga-Clarissa Harold, and newest member, Carly Saxe with chaperone Johnny Berg and Team Advisor, Debbi Fincher.
