SEND AN E-CARD, SAVE A LIFE!

It can be hard to know what to say when someone you love is having a rough time. Sending a Lifeline E-card is a great way to show someone you care and let them know that hope is available. You can send a card for sympathy over a death or a loss of relationship, to offer emotional support, or to simply tell someone you’re thinking of them.

Lifeline E-Cards have several different templates, which work well for different situations. However you send your condolences or sympathy, remember that the thought itself matters more than the content. For example, a recent study in Australia found that sending out simple ‘get well’ postcards to suicidal patients led to fewer hospital admissions within the next two years. Although this was a small group in just one hospital, it does show that a simple card can go a long way.
