Plant the Promise campaign

National “Plant the Promise” campaign got our youth and parents out in the community planting over 300 red tulip bulbs. This was started in 2006 and the flowers continue to bloom each Spring as a reminder to stay drug free.

“Plant the Promise” campaign was developed by the National Family Partnership. San Juan Island students and families planted over 300 red tulip bulbs in October-which honors Red Ribbon Week where communities across the nation unite to take a visible stand against drugs. These October planted bulbs will bloom in April which is National Alcohol Awareness Month. Did you “plant the promise” in our community?
